People told me I was a designer long before I saw it myself. Before graduating high school, I spent my time creating, designing photo albums and pretend magazines.

In 2008, I landed my first ‘big-girl-job’ at a landscape architect firm in downtown Minneapolis. I would show up each morning as a proud Marketing Coordinator wearing heels that click when I walk.

I moved on to working in the public sector for local government designing marketing materials and brands for the community.

15 years of corporate marketing experience and design projects laid out the blueprint for what it takes to run a design business.

Tara Jenkins Designs was birthed in May, 2021.

The challenges, the learning opportunities and the relationships with my clients are so fulfilling. I’m grateful to do what I love, and I’m grateful you are here.

My story.

People know me for my clean designs, creative typography and breathing space.

I have 20 years of design experience and am proficient in Adobe CC.

In the past three years, 83% of my clients have hired me again after completing our first project together.

Campaign Success!

ANOKA COUNTY SHERIFF
Sheriff Brad Wise was voted in by the people of Anoka County in fall 2022! This was my first campaign from start to finish – hopefully the first of many!
Plymouth Community Center

BRAND IDENTITY
The state-of-the-art community center is intentionally designed with modern shapes and movement throughout the building. I had the opportunity to design a brand to carry this identity throughout the signage and marketing.
