Merry Christmas

If you’re new here, every Christmas brings the opportunity to design a passion project. I love the tradition of sending and receiving Christmas cards. I also feel it is an opportunity for me to include a scripture design with the purpose of bringing hope to your mailbox and to glorify God for all the opportunities and gifts He has given me. This year was especially busy with client projects, Christmas shopping, and the hustle and bustle this season brings. On December 6, I counted the 2 1/2 weeks before Christmas with no designs started for this year’s Christmas card. I debated on skipping this year but decided I can whip them together – the message in the declarations are so profound on their own, they really don’t need much of any design.

I received the final product just 10 days before Christmas. I am so disappointed in the print quality. I always work with the same printer that delivers impeccable print quality and this year, this printer was bought out by another company. Lesson learned to find a new printer for next year.

Nonetheless, I hope you’ll enjoy these messages and that they speak to your soul this season.

The scripture design (declarations) below were written by Wendi Vreeman. I recently designed a beautiful book for The Belonging Women’s Ministry in Willmar, MN. I find these declarations applicable and powerful. And they are affirmations I would love for my 11-year old daughter to know and stand firm on.
